Kristi "Dog Killer" Noem — Why Is She In Such Hot Water?

(Hamlin County, South Dakota) — The once-popular, arguably fallen off Governor of South Dakota, Kristi Lynn Noem, has been drowned in controversy lately due to an excerpt from her new book, “No Going Back”, in which she discusses shooting her childhood dog to death and leaving the corpse in a remote gravel pit, killing a goat along the way, as well. The new book, reportedly a memoir on the personal life of Kristi and how she got to where she is today, is set to release soon.

In one section of the book, she discusses slaughtering her 14-month-old puppy because it was “untrainable” and she “...hated that dog.” After she killed the dog, she reportedly killed a “Nasty and mean” goat that sneered at her on her way back home, too. The event that led her to make the decision to get rid of the dog was when he got into her neighbor’s chicken coop and slaughtered several of their chickens, leading the neighbor to snap at Noem when she went to retrieve the dog. Noem’s apathetic brutality has definitely cost her a lot of political points, with the majority of Americans, around 65%, stating they view her actions in an unfavorable light.

Noem, who was definitely thought to be Trump’s largest VP contender by most, wrecked her chances of joining the Trump ticket with this, especially after nearly 48% of Republicans stated they viewed her unfavorably for her actions. While this is spelling doom for her career, the Democrats are already taking to twitter to attack her for it, with many Democratic Governors forming a twitter chain captioned “Post a picture with your dog that doesn’t involve shooting them and throwing them in a gravel pit.”

…Many such cases.

Not ONLY are the Democrats and people inside her own party destroying her for this, she’s defended and held her ground on this happenstance several times over, even going so far as to threaten to kill President Biden’s dog, Commander. “Commander, say hello to Cricket”, Noem said. The White House responded to Noem’s statements, retorting that she “...should stop digging herself into a hole.”

So, Biden's attacked her, KJP's attacked her, the Democratic Governor's Association has gotten on her, Trump has dropped her from the shortlist, but it doesn't stop there. Even institutions like FOX News have began to distance from her and criticize the actions she took several years back, especially after her disastrous interview with Stuart Varney in which she lashed out at him and told him he "doesn't have the facts straight" and that the interview was beginning to get "ridiculous".

While this is obviously more than damning for the long-lost member of the Trump family, she’s acting like it’s doing no harm to her. As she continues to make this worse for herself, the nation hates her more. We think it’s safe to say Kristi Lynn won’t be the Vice President any time soon.
